Job Description:
Leidos is looking to staff the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) contract for the Provision of ATM and Communications, Navigation and Surveillance maintenance services in Support of Coalition Forces in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Typical duties will include: Complete logistics requirements determination studies; Inventory and requisition supplies, repair parts, and equipment; Work through procurement channels using AF Form 9 and other methods to procure and maintain agreed upon stock of supplies and equipment; Receipt, accountability, and inventory of electronic equipment and components; Data entry to query and enter information for supply, acquisition, and inventory purposes; Pull and stage equipment for shipment to various sites; Package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork; Staging and shipping equipment for repair; and Maintain records of account for items shipped and transported (database & paperwork). OCONUS experience is preferred.
Basic Qualifications
US citizen with a DoD Secret security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information). The candidate must have Minimum of five (5) years of general experience in logistics/supply management, cargo, and transportation; preparing, editing, and reviewing logistic documentation in support of electronic systems or equipment according to military specifications and standards; development of logistics support data; and the development of logistics documentation. Must be a graduate of a high school or a trade school & possess valid US driver’s license with photo.
Education:
Bachelors degree in any discipline from ABET or Nationally Accredited Institution with DOD Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) training; OR Associate degree in any discipline with DOD ILS training and with additional three (3) years experience; OR Completion of formal resident trade school or apprentice program in DOD ILS training with additional three (3) years experience.
The candidate must have Minimum of five years of overall general experience in logistics/supply management, cargo, and transportation; preparing, editing, and reviewing logistic documentation in support of electronic systems or equipment according to military specifications and standards; development of logistics support data; and the development of logistics documentation. In addition the Logistics Specialist must be familiar with: Government and defense department accountability and associated record keeping policies and procedures including transportation modes, packing and shipping standards, and quality assurance practices; Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria; USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures, forms, and processes;
Desired Skills:
