Job Description:

Leidos has an opportunity for a Project Manager at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.  The Project Manager will support all facets of Project Management in support of the 844th Communications Group at all three locations to include; Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Joint Base Andrews (JBA) and the Pentagon.  This includes supporting the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) customers on both NIPRNet and SIPRet domains. Candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.  Duties include ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints.  Candidates will interface with task and functional leaders at all levels, subcontractors, and support personnel.      
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
•Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close projects for government / DoD customers.
•Provide scheduling data to update the Microsoft Project Integrated Master Schedule.
•Update project status in Remedy.
•Hold and document stakeholder meetings.
•Develop briefings and charts detailing project status.
•Update customers on project status.
•Utilize advanced time management and analytical skills
•Provide excellent client-facing communication. 
•Utilize expert knowledge of, and ability to apply, advanced principles and concepts.
•Work to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
 
Basic Qualifications:
•BA/BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. 
•Project Management and or Project Coordination and or Management of Operations in a DOD/Military Environment.
•Currently possess a DoD Secret clearance. 
•Must have PMP Certification.
•Must have working knowledge of Excel & Remedy. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
•Experience working with virtual teams and across multiple locations / environments.
