Leidos has an opening for an experienced Program Manager (PM) to provide operational support to a program that is modernizing and transforming the way their business is run. The program is focused on improving record management, artifact creation and control, and collaboration. The PM will serve as the primary interface between the contractor and the government for all required project status information, tasking, risk management, coordination, staffing, scheduling and problem resolution. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
The PM will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to the technical oversight for analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications. The PM will analyze business functionality and provide recommendations and impact assessments for architecture. The PM is responsible for managing, developing and evaluating subordinate resources, resolving contractor issues, meeting monthly with Sponsor for a Program Management Review, creating and maintaining all compliance documentation, maintaining the contractor management plan, as well as managing and reporting on project related items, such as cost, schedule, risk, and performance. The PM will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all CDRL and financial reports for the contract as well as ad hoc data calls and various other contract deliverables. The PM is to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of programmatic and technical information and plan and participate in program/iterative reviews. The PM will be responsible for securing and managing an exceptional team/staff, maintaining high levels of staff retention, and ensuring exceptional customer relationship management. The successful candidate will excel at personnel and customer relationship management with a big picture/strategic eye for innovation and continued efficiencies across the program.
Mandatory Skills:
- Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Demonstrated capability of managing medium size highly complex programs and all associated financials and contract deliverables.
- Exceptional staff and customer relationship management skills.
- Experience managing a software development program/project
- Experience working in a multi-prime “one team” environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities working with senior management to influence and find solutions.
- Experience in an Agile and DevOps technical environment
- Ability to write / document and present materials.
Desired Skills:
- BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business, or
anything IT related and/or a Master’s degree.
- PMP certified or equivalent
