The Leidos Defense organization has an open position for a TEMPEST Lead supporting the AFNCR IT Services program. The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.
The Tempest Lead will be located at Joint Base Andrews and will be responsible for Managing the Computer Security (COMPUSEC) program, TEMPEST program, and Cyber Defense Analysis Notice and Consent (CDA N&C) program.
- Manage the TEMPEST program to include tracking and conducting assessments, inspections, and certifications of classified processing areas (CPAs) for theAFNCR IAW DoD and AF directives.
- Manage COMPUSE and Cyber Defense Notice and Consent program.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation of AFNCR information system resources IAW applicable DoDdirectives.
- Know all TEMPEST, COMPUSEC and CDA N&C requirements.
- Work with Traditional Security checklist.
- DoD Secret clearance at start.
- Requires a Bachelors degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to address and assess RMF Security Controls.
