The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Targets/Information Operations Analyst at Lackland AFB, TX. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI in order to be considered. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert within the 616th Operations Center/Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Division for developing targets in order to meet supported combatant commander’s objectives and guidance. Provide subject matter expertise to the joint targeting cycle with a focus on phase 2 (Target Development) in order to provide electronic target folders at the intermediate level to Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber Air Force. Assist in the development of both dynamic and deliberate target folders to meet the joint force needs in the information operations environment. Dynamic targeting support may include time sensitive processing of targets in order to enable warfighter engagement options as soon as possible. Incumbent will be expected to provide inputs and recommendations on target selection methodology as well as tactical assessment how selected targets effect the adversary’s capabilities. Requires detailed knowledge of Joint Publication 3-60 “Joint Targeting”, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction 3370.01C “Target Development Standards” as they pertain to intermediate target development requirements. Requires prior air operations center or combatant command targeting experience with a focus on non-kinetic effects. Requires ability to adopt and embrace an information warfare mindset for collaboration with subject matter experts of other information warfare disciplines to develop new, innovative cross-domain operational methods. Represents 16 AF/616th Operations Center across a variety of functional area organizations and activities. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with air components, service, Allied, joint information operations centers, combat support agencies, combatant commands, interagency partners, academia and industry.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other analytic related field. Four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of Targeting Support experience or all-source intelligence analysis experience
- Experience in information warfare/cyberspace operations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Formal education in Joint Targeting (Joint Intermediate Target Development Course, Joint Targeting Staff Course, etc.)
- Polygraph highly desired.
