Leidos is seeking a Change and Release Specialist who wants to work on a new agile DevSecOp project in an IC DoD customer space.  Leidos is building a new team to develop new structure and applications for our customer. This role designs, implements, and administers change and release management process across the enterprise. This role is responsible for process management, process documentation, and coordinating, scheduling and running configuration control board meetings. The role performs monitoring and verifying of the release process across multiple entities. This role supports both traditional and DevSecOps processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform monitoring and verifying of the change and release process. 
  • Work with Service Desk personnel to implement approved best practice processes in the ITSM tool.
  • Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate product design changes and the effects of the overall system.
  • Identify, track, and document configuration items and ensure configuration control by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations and preparing deviations and waivers for Government approval when specifications cannot be met.
  • Plan and lead major technology assignments.
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • May supervise others.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience monitoring and verifying change and release in an agile environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple organizations to implement processes.
  • Possess domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Ability to support both traditional and agile DevSecOps processes.
  • Possess ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Ability for decision making and domain knowledge which may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
  • Experience establishing goals and plans to meet project objectives. 
  • Experience interacting with clients at a senior level.
  • Experience reviewing other people’s work.
  • Experience mentoring and managing team members.
  • This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience; or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience. Years of experience may be used in lieu of degree. US Citizenship is required.

An active TS/SCI with Poly required
