The Health Group at Leidos has an opening for a Program Manager, contingent upon contract award, to lead the U.S. Nation Institute of Mental Health Data Archive (NDA) in Bethesda, MD.
The NDA makes available human subjects data collected from hundreds of research projects across many scientific domains. The NDA provides infrastructure for sharing research data, tools, methods, and analyses, facilitating collaborative science and discovery. The Program Manager will serve as the Leidos primary point-of-contact with the Government program office for management and technical matters and contract-level issues. He/she will provide planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish all work requirements, and manage and oversee all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors.
Provide overall project management of the NDA, ensuring that the technical and operational implementation meets the scientific, technical, and program needs of the NIMH. Ensure that National Institute of Health (NIH) policies and NDA Standard Operation Procedures are followed. Provide management of the contractor team, and lead the research community through presentations, papers, and other methods of communication on the need to share high quality research data and results Present the status of contract activities, requirements, and problems during program reviews and in response to requests from the Government. Perform hiring, supervision, and performance assessment. Manage and integrate the efforts of subcontractors, assuring flow-down and fulfillment of all contractual requirements
Master’s Degree in a data science related field with 10 years of experience managing mental health, or related research based systems Expertise in research data infrastructure and solutions. Demonstrated experience in National Institute of Health (NIH) enterprise systems. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
5 years’ experience managing firm fixed price task orders and performance -based contracts
Requires the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
