Leidos is seeking an InfoSEC Security Engineer (ISE) who wants to work on a new agile DevSecOp project in an IC DoD customer space.  Leidos is building a new team to develop new structure and applications for our customer. This role provides information security solutions compliant with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Security Accreditation control as part of an Agile team. Responsibilities include collaborating with the customer security organization to ensure RMF processes are followed, policy is translated to operational procedures, proper tools are leveraged in the DevSecOps Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline, and verification that security policy and procedures are enforced. Responsibilities include IT Security Strategy, CyberSecurity, and Compliance and Risk Management. Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform security scans, reviews scan results, and provide application architecture consultation.
  • Responsible for protecting the organization's information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording and destruction.
  • Manage and enforce security strategies and policies within established guidelines.
  • Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Possess expert knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 Security Accreditation controls.
  • Possess ability and experience in collaborating with the customer security organization(s) to ensure RMF processes are followed, policy is translated to operational procedures, proper tools are leveraged in the DevSecOps Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline, and verification that security policy and procedures are enforced.
  • Possess expertise to perform security scans, reviews scan results, and provide application architecture consultation.
  • Possess experience in protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording and destruction.
  • Possess knowledge and ability to manage and enforce security strategies and policies.
  • Possess experience in managing and/or providing technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. 
  • Possess experience in establishing goals and plans and monitoring progress. 
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience; or a Master's with 2-6 years of experience. Years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.

US Citizenship is required.

TS/SCI with Poly required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Flexible cross-training to provide systems engineering, software development, training, security, and testing is desired.
  • Masters with 2-6 years prior relevant experience.
