The Army and Mission Partners (AMP) Division within the Enterprise IT and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) in the Defense Group has an opening for a Network Administrator Lead in support of USSOUTHCOM. The position is located in Doral, FL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for network administration operations, maintenance, and associated activities of platforms installed throughout the USSOUTHCOM enterprise.
The Network Administrator Lead shall:
- Provide services to tasks involving engineering development, integration, interface design analysis, integration of infrastructure, and testing of software and hardware.
- Perform system-level configuration of products including validating the integration of hardware, software, operating systems, and other platform specifications while maintaining interoperability with existing legacy systems.
A) BS degree in related field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree in related field with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
B) Possess a fully adjudicated TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
C) Possess certifications as required in DoD 8570 Baseline Information Assurance Technical (IAT)-II level as identified at the https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570- baseline-certifications/ website.
D) A minimum of five years of experience leading teams of network operations/engineering staff with skills applicable to a program environment similar to those in Section E.
E) A minimum of six years of experience supporting global network systems and subsystems; troubleshooting a wide range of LAN, Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), BGP, WAN, and network/service availability; and making recommendations for system fixes and enhancements.
F) A minimum of three years planning and executing local and long-haul communications.
G) A minimum of three years of experience supporting and troubleshooting firewall appliances, rule sets and working with firewall solutions.
H) A minimum of three years of experience with IPv4 and IPv6 protocol stacks.
- A minimum of six years of experience with DISA’s Joint Regional Security Stack.
- A minimum of three years of experience with IPv4 and IPv6 protocol stacks.
- Possess a current Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) certification.
