Leidos is looking to hire an entry level Program Security Representative (PSR) to assist the Security Team including the Facility Security Officer with all personnel security related functions on Public Trust and DoD Contracts. The PSR will work to ensure successful onboarding of new hires as well as required maintenance for current on contract staff. Will assist candidates through the security lifecycle in support of several customers to include DHS, CBP and DOJ. The position is located in the Leidos Gaithersburg, MD office and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Support multiple Federal Customers Personnel Security Processing; duties entail, reviewing, approving, and submitting EOD packages up to and including SCI nomination packages in accordance with customer requirements.
- Maintenance of Personnel Security Databases to track the candidate progress
- Support FSO Functions in the following areas; duties entail, processing of Prime and Sub DD254’s, process outgoing visit authorizations for personnel assigned to contracts that require cleared access and validate the personnel security clearance of new personnel. If required, initiate action for the proper investigation to be conducted.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are a must.
Must be highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to proofread for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and format
Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly in order to meet deadlines
Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
Ability to work independently or as a team player
Prior experience in Personnel Security a plus but not required.
