Leidos  Government Health & Safety Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to expand our agile team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).  CMS utilizes a number of systems to support beneficiaries of Medicare.  These complex, large-scale critical systems receive/process data, facilitate analysis, and report outcomes.  Leidos will create system efficiencies in processing time, utilize AWS cloud services, and provide enhanced performance with predictive analytics. 

This position is contingent upon contract award. Primary Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Work with CMS business owner in understanding the business needs and communicating to a wide range of stakeholders

- Act as a team lead to a team of analysts

- Develop requirements based on CMS business and project needs

- Collaborate with developers and testers in ensuring requirements are implemented correctly and meet customers’ expectations

- Identify solutions and evaluate solutions to complex system problems

- Actively participate/lead in the discovery/validation/verification process throughout the development life cycle

- Actively engage/lead in process improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

- BS degree and 11 – 14 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-12 years of prior relevant experience.

​- Proven experience working in complex projects gathering user requirements and converting them into system requirements

- Working knowledge with process modeling
- Demonstrated understanding of full software development life cycle

- Hands on experience with requirements management tool
- Proven experience with supporting highly critical customer missions
- Demonstrated good understanding of engineering fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives

-CMS Customer Domain Knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in Agile methodology

- Prior experience with HP ALM and JIRA

- Experience in developing Job Flow, Business Process and Functional Flow diagrams

- Prior system integration experience

All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered. Should be able to get Public Trust Clearance.
