Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all of Leidos Corporate Information Security’s (CIS) engagements with our business groups.  The role will be responsible for managing senior technical leaders and managers to ensure that the requirements of the business are fulfilled.  This includes not only coordinating support for proposals and short term engagements with programs but also the effective execution of business supporting CIS workflows including exceptions to policy, privileged rights management and similar.  This role oversees our Business Information Security Officer program which is responsible for managing the CIS relationships with the Groups and supporting business requirements.  Additional responsibilities include leading  the CIS Integration team which staffs architects and engineers to solve a myriad of challenges and guiding CIS efforts with the cyber workforce.  Finally this role oversees the CIS relationship with the CTO’s office which include senior leadership for the CIS Transformation team responsible for developing cutting edge cyber security solutions in partnership with the CTO.

Primary Responsibilities


.Senior leadership for a staff of experienced cyber experts and cyber security leaders

Oversight for multi-disciplinary projects, initiatives and strategic efforts across the company on CIS’s behalf

Collaboration with peer directors to deliver projects aligned to business objectives

Provide senior review for proposals and senior oversight for program support from CIS

Drive the execution of the CIS cyber workforce transformation story; act as evangelist and advocate

Establish vision and direction for the organization in alignment with overall CIS strategy

Overall accountability for the quality of support provided to the Leidos businesses

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.

Prior experience should include leading large (20+) multi-functional teams to achieve strategic goals

Experience leading customer facing programs

Experience with proposals and the proposal process

Demonstrated ability to create new and differentiating offerings to support business objectives

Leadership for independent research and development (IRAD) projects; particular focus on defensive cyber

Demonstrated excellence addressing team management and planning (recruitment, retention, and training)

Experience advising senior management on information security/cyber security programs, policies, systems and elements.

Mastery of one or more areas of cyber security including: cyber operations, risk management, governance, information security, cyber architecture, cyber engineering, platform security

Preferred Qualifications
