The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate Part-Time opportunity for a Service Desk, Help Desk professional, based at San Antonio, Texas.
This position supports the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) program.
Will be responsible for providing part-time Desktop Services support.
Required ability to work flexible schedules to support mission requirements.
Solid communication skills to interact with system owners, DCPDS Operations and Engineering teams, to receive and status incidents on Windows server and storage.
Ability to create and maintain system documentation and reports.
Excellent telephone skills.
The ability to triage a trouble call and troubleshoot and fix the problem, or assign the problem (via an internal ticketing system) to a senior Windows Administrator.
Answer telephones and coordinate with other DPCDS teams on IT support issues.
Communicate and assist in the day-to-day tasks of the other team members.
Communicates and collaborates with DCPDS team leads and Managers.
Provides troubleshooting and incident resolution for Tier 1-3 problems.
Basic Qualifications Requirements:
High School or equivalent and 1 year experience.
Must be US Citizen.
Public Trust Clearance.
Demonstrated experience with Windows 10, illustrated through work background.
Demonstrated experience with basic network and printer functionality and configuration.
Experience with installation, configuration, implementation, or Windows 10.
Experience patching Windows Desktops.
Dell/HP hardware familiarity.
Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
