Leidos is seeking a Sr. Java Developer for upcoming expected needs in October 2020 for our SSA ITSSC II program in Baltimore, MD. As our Senior Java Developer, you will utilize your extensive experience in developing and maintaining the high-performing Java applications. You will have prime accountability for major projects and will develop detailed and robust design, code, test, and implement proposed systems.
Role / Responsibility:
Develop technical solutions, and document the solution architecture and design using standard design tools. Demonstrate design experience and be willing to challenge other team member’s designs as well as receive and incorporate feedback. Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review).
Key Required Skills:
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Cloud and BDD/ TDD.
- Bachelors degree and 8 years prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 6 years prior relevant experience
- Spring Boot Spring Boot API
- Spring MVC
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)
- Spring MVC + JSP
- Web Development, Spring Framework, Maven
- OIDC, OAuth, BitBucket, Git (any number of years of exp)
- Exp with Jira, version one (any number of years of exp)
- Experience with the implementation of Section 508 standards for Web Applications.
- Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.
- Prior experience with federal or state governments IT projects.
- Bachelors + 11 Years OR Masters + 9 Years of professional experience
