Leidos has an opening for an Standards & Evaluations Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Fort Bragg, NC. Candidates must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
The candidate applies expert knowledge of Air Force Career Enlisted Aviator (CEA) Standards & Evaluations procedures; ensures CEAs are current & qualified in accordance with Air Force Instructions (AFI), to include AFI 11-202 V1-3, and other regulating documents; establishes, evaluates and enforces standards to guarantee safe and highly effective mission accomplishment; manages flight records, evaluations and examinations ensuring the unit is equipped with highly proficient CEAs prepared to support commander directives; experience with PEX application desired. Direct liaison between the commander and higher headquarters, advises the commander on policy related to the initiation and execution of unusual, sensitive and complex issues and associated problems impacting the execution of the unit's operational mission. Works directly with customers and team members to execute MAJCOM Standards & Evaluations program to include developing checklists and standardizing unit programs. SME will augment the Standards & Evaluations team during airborne and/or ground evaluations.
Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences (or related field) and/or equivalent formal military training and 4-8 years of relevant experience.
Prior CEA experience/ability to pass flight physical highly desired; Requires current TS/SCI security clearance
