The Security, Detection & Automation Operation is seeking a Senior Program Finance Analyst to support a dynamic, high growth manufacturing organization. This position reports directly to the Director, Finance and Business Operations.
The Sr. Program Finance Analyst will be functionally responsible for the following broad areas: Responsible for business management and planning for dynamic portfolio of largely commercial, firm fixed price projects in a growing manufacturing environment. Candidate should have a deep understanding of risk management and quantification and have a passion for growing the business. Sr. Program Finance analyst will be responsible for periodic portfolio performance tracking, reporting and problem resolution. Given the manufacturing nature of the position, a heavy emphasis will be placed on balance sheet analysis and management along with synthesis of how a production plan pushes into a revenue projection. Analyzes data and prepare accurate and timely information to management in support of decision-making activities.
• Planning, Tracking and reporting on programs, R&D projects, production forecast, indirect departmental budgets and advising management on optimization efforts
• Intercompany Work Order management including CONOPS for international business
• Pursuit tracking including B&P administration and forecasting awards, submits and B2B
• Review of accruals, revenue recognition and key transactions during period close
• Division approver of Cost Point purchase requisitions
• P&L Reports on margin improvement and labor utilization efforts
• Cash Management expert and balance sheet planning, especially around inventory and AR
Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Cost Point, Hyperion, OBI, Cognos, Fusion, LPAS, and Cost Point. Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word. Manufacturing experience and experience with international business arrangements preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
