Job Description:

The Life Sciences Division of the Leidos Health Group is seeking a Senior Program Analyst with knowledge of biomedical research and strong project management skills to support the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC)’s CBRN Defense Coordinating Office.  The analyst would support the oversight and management of research and development efforts at DoD laboratories and key extramural research performers in the development of medical countermeasures to CBRN and related threats. This position is located at Fort Detrick, MD, may involve occasional travel (typically less than 1 week per year). Position may involve telework.

Primary Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, and control access to electronic files using various information management systems, review and analysis of program, budget, acquisition, and policy documents, plan, coordinate, and document meetings, prepare correspondence, decision briefing, and information papers, review CBDP-funded research proposals, awards, and deliverables at USAMRDC intramural laboratories, develop and prepare Excel financial spreadsheet analyses to support program execution status reporting requirements and PowerPoint briefing slide presentations, as required, to support USAMRDC government staff personnel in briefing and updating senior Army, DoD and Congressional leadership on the status and assessment of medical CBRN defense research programs. the senior analyst may also participate in the oversight and coordination of Congressional Special Interest programs, medical radiological defense program, and planning medical research collaborations with interagency, academic, industry, and international partners.

Basic Qualifications

Eligible for a secret security clearance.

Bachelors plus 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)

Experience with the development of SharePoint sites (or similar collaboration tools)

Experience with Microsoft Excel

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to work with limited guidance and be highly responsive in a fast-paced team environment with evolving needs

Preferred Qualifications

Possess a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)

PMP or other relevant certification

Experience with the development of FDA-regulated products

Experience with DoD PPBES and Defense Acquisition System

Experience with legislative research and analysis
