We are seeking a motivated and talented machine learning engineer to join an algorithm development team and participate with hands-on contributions to advanced detection and computer vision algorithms, and supporting software infrastructure.
A successful candidate will apply strong software development skills with knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision to contribute to the development of advanced algorithms for next-generation threat detection security systems. The candidate will collaborate with team members to propose and implement improvements to algorithms and supporting software, tools, and compute infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include
- Contributing to a team that is developing object detection and image processing system architectures that will be implemented in real-time decisioning processes in security screening systems fielded across the world
- Hands on development of advanced machine learning, object detection, image processing, and computer vision algorithms
- Development of machine learning software infrastructure to support algorithm development, visualization, and evaluation.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 6 years software development experience
- Minimum 3 years experience developing machine learning algorithms and supporting software infrastructure
- Proficient with Linux
- Proficient with Python and Scientific Python Libraries
- Proficient with PyTorch or similar deep learning framework
- Familiarity with deep neural network architectures and concepts
- Experienced with algorithm performance evaluation and optimization
- Proficient with C++
- Experienced with NVIDIA CUDA development
- Experienced creating data visualizations using QT and OpenGL frameworks
