Job Description:

Sensor Operator to work on site in the Washington Metro Area, in an aviation environment with a specialized crew, following an irregular air ops tempo. Non-standard shift work will be required: this job entails regular night shift work, with a schedule that is dynamic in nature. No overseas deployment is required. The Sensor Operator is responsible for real-time collection of electro-optic/infrared (EO-IR) full motion video (FMV) in support of government requirements. A current TOP SECRET/SCI clearance is required, as well as the willingness and ability to undergo a polygraph. Shift differential pay and extended work week are included under specific circumstances.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military training, and 8+ years of current EO/IR FMV operational experience. Formal service training as a sensor operator, as well as experience and comfort working in an aircrew environment. Familiarity and working knowledge of state-of-the-art ISR applications, tools, and systems, to specifically include the real-time operation and exploitation of EO/IR FMV imagers. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high situational awareness in a dynamic environment, with little or no direct supervision. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environments, including Microsoft Office. Flawless history in creating, handling, and marking classified materials in and around controlled facilities and on classified networks. The candidate must be prepared to work a dynamic schedule that fluctuates to meet mission needs and may include weekends, night hours, and long duration shifts. A current and active TOP SECRET security clearance with current SCI eligibility is required.

 Desired: Recent experience in U.S. Central Command’s Area of Responsibility as tactical military aircrew. A demonstrated technical understanding of military communications networks and computer systems is highly desired. Experience with US military remotely piloted aircraft/unmanned aerial vehicles. Instructor or SEFE qualification in an ISR platform. Experience with PFPS/Falconview, Zeus, and/or MAAS/DVA.
