Job Description:

This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) contract. The Army and Mission Partners (AMP) Division within the Enterprise IT and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) in the Defense Group has an opening for a Network & Systems Engineer in support of SCITES.  The position is located in Doral, FL.

The successful candidate will apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.  Additional duties include:

  • Supports all enterprise NOSC services, to include Security Development Operations (SECDEVOPS) services, defensive cyber operations, configuration management, software library, scan and compliance tools, network common operational picture, Tier 3 CSSP, Tier 1 call center/service desk, firewall O&M, monitoring solution, and log management solutions.
  • Provide troubleshooting/CE/NE support to all IT systems throughout the Headquarters.
  • Configure and support Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet systems.
  • Provide extensive experience in technologies and skills such as DOD security hardening, collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, etc.), security architectures, Management Services, Network (routing, switching, etc.), Access Management,Configuration Management, Cisco Internet Operating system (IOS), Cisco NXOS, ASA firewalls, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or a Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Must have an IAT II to include any of the following certifications:  CCNA Security, CND, SSCP. GICSP,  GSEC, CySA+**, Security+ CE
  • Must have experience in technologies and skills such as DOD security hardening, collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, etc.), security architectures, Management Services,
  • Experience in Network Routing, Switching, etc., Access Management, Configuration Management, Cisco Internet Operating system (IOS), Cisco NXOS, ASA firewalls, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks.
