These services aid in the prevention or reduction of the effects of stressors that may detract from military and family readiness.
Leidos Military & Veterans Health group is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support the MFLC program.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Onboards all assigned candidates; collects and processes HR paperwork and guides candidates through the pre-employment process. Makes initial determinations and recommendations on candidate background and drug screenings; follows up with candidates to obtain supporting documentation for employment and education verification; presents supplemental documentation for background screenings to the recruiter for final approval. Accurately submits and maintains candidate files within the HR database; regularly tracks changes in status and communicates them to the appropriate parties. Corresponds daily with candidates via telephone and email to ensure proper submission of required documents and overall engagement with on-boarding procedures; sends, receives, and tracks employment documents via email, fax, and overnight mail. Maintains accurate staffing updates within daily reports and Excel spreadsheets. Provides guidance to candidates on program and company policies; may assist with providing program overviews for new hires. Manages confidential information, including background, banking, and other pre-employment paperwork.
Requires a BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
