Leidos is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) who wants to work on a new data development and modernization project in an IC DoD customer space. Leidos is building a new team to transform data for our customer. This role will be the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contract. The PM will direct efforts of cross-competency teams at multiple locations. The PM will serve as the primary interface and POC with Government leads and representatives on technical and project issues. The PM will regularly brief Government and Leidos leadership on project status and milestones. The PM will oversee contractor operations by developing procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programmatic, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress. The PM will manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project. The PM will lead efforts to incorporate current and future business processes and tradecraft, using modern database design principles, while cleansing and improving the quality of current holdings. The PM will ensure the use of data methodologies and models to enable integration of tools and data, improve data ingestion, increase data scaling, enhance data exploitation, and more interoperable and secure data.

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Lead, manage, and administer contract making sure the contract stays within cost, schedule and scope
  • Direct efforts of cross-competency teams at multiple locations
  • Serve as the primary interface and POC with Government leads and representatives on technical and project issues
  • Brief Government and Leidos leadership on project status and milestones
  • Develop procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programmatic, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress
  • Manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project
  • Lead efforts to incorporate current and future business processes and tradecraft, using modern database design principles, while cleansing and improving the quality of current holdings
  • Ensure the use of data methodologies and models to better enable integration of tools and data, improve data ingestion, increase data scaling, enhance data exploitation, and more interoperable and secure data

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous experience integrating data methodologies and models to better enable integration of tools and data, improve data ingestion, increase data scaling, enhance data exploitation, and more interoperable and secure data
  • A minimum of ten years of project management experience 
  • An active certification in at least one of the following:
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional.
    • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
    • Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Manager (FAC P/PM) Level 3.
  • Previous experience leading, managing, and administer contracts
  • Previous experience directing efforts of cross-competency teams at multiple locations
  • Previous experience serving as the primary interface and POC with Government leads and representatives on technical and project issues
  • Previous experience brief Government and corporate leadership on project status and milestones
  • Previous experience developing procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programmatic, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress
  • Previous experience managing acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project
  • Previous experience leading efforts to incorporate current and future business processes and tradecraft, using modern database design principles, while cleansing and improving the quality of current holdings
  • Previous experience ensuring the use of data methodologies and models to better enable integration of tools and data, improve data ingestion, increase data scaling, enhance data exploitation, and more interoperable and secure data
  • Candidate must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 15 years of related experience; or a Doctorate with 13 years of related experience.

US Citizenship is required.

TS/SCI with Poly required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience managing projects utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies (e.g., Agile) in a big data environment
  • Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (e.g., project management, engineering, computer science, etc.)
