Leidos' Ethics and Compliance department is looking for a dynamic, business-oriented professional to join its team as the Ethics and Compliance Specialist located in Reston, VA. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Compliance Programs and assist in the operation of our Ethics and Compliance program. You will have primary responsibility for providing oversight and administration of the Ethics and Compliance training program. You will also work closely with senior department personnel on a variety of other critical projects supporting the Ethics and Compliance strategy and engage in cross-functional collaboration enterprise-wide.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Senior Manager of Compliance Programs to sustain and continue development of key aspects of the Ethics and Compliance program

  • Participates in the implementation of the Ethics and Compliance program throughout the company

  • Supports the development and rollout of annual ethics awareness and compliance training

  • Partners with stakeholders and functional leads across the enterprise to ensure compliance training objectives are met

  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on the status of compliance training enterprise-wide

  • Assists in annual updates to  the Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

  • Engages in various research and benchmarking projects, and supports other strategic program initiatives 

  • Prepares and disseminates of ethics-related communications

  • Addresses questions and provides guidance to employees on ethics and compliance-related policies

  • Acts as department liaison with industry associations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in Ethics and Compliance fields

  • Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work across functions with a wide-variety of stakeholders

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Has or is working toward a professional certification, such as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)

Please note: while we are still on 100% telecommute at this time due to Covid19, this position is expected to return to onsite support from Reston – VA (with one day per week telecommute) when it’s safe to do so.
