This position will serve as a key member of a team of highly qualified and motivated individuals in an exciting, fast-paced, mission critical counterterrorism watch center/operations environment. The Briefer will conduct all-source research to identify and monitor the nature and credibility of terrorism-related intelligence threats. The Briefer will ensure continuity across the customer’s watch teams by providing CT-related intelligence and threat reporting, coordinating analytical assessments and staying abreast of IC policy concerns. The Briefer will provide daily oral and written intelligence summaries and briefings to the customer’s Directorate staff. The Briefer will maintain situational awareness by monitoring high-traffic data feeds and updates classified and unclassified information platforms. The Briefer may be required to brainstorm innovative methods of conveying time-sensitive, complex details of incidents, level-setting knowledge across the center by consistently providing feedback on threat reporting which helps inform decision making.
- Candidates must have experience working with a variety of Intelligence Community databases, networks, and environments
- Excellent communication skills are necessary in order to brief members of senior leadership
- Effective use of MS Office applications in a multi-level security settings
- Experience working jointly with multiple Intelligence Community agencies
- Experience working in a cohesive team environment
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of experience
- TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
