Leidos has a career opening for a Access Control Team Lead located in Reston, VA.

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for the “front of house” access control and front line security posture of the HQ.  This will be a fast paced, customer facing and high visibility environment working as part of the Workplace Security Team and will be based in Reston, VA.  This position will provide oversight and guidance to the Badge Office Team and provide support to several other functions supporting access control for the corporation.  Primary duties will include badge access control system administration, troubleshooting and repair of automated access management and intrusion detection/monitoring systems.  These systems span across the continental US and are dedicated to protecting corporate assets as well as classified materials and enable Leidos to meet and exceed federal government regulations in support of classified contracts.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a team mentality.  Customer service, attention to detail and technical troubleshooting skills are all critical to this position. 

Normal duty hours will take place during normal daytime business hours, but infrequent after hours and weekend support may be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Badge Office Administration of enterprise level access control systems to include:

-The production and issuance of corporate ID/access cards and for provisioning/de-provisioning accesses as appropriate.

-Handling special badging projects, reports and audits to ensure a secure and efficient badging process.

-Programming, issuance and tracking of parking transponders

-Supports programming and testing of hardware configurations for access control

-Planning, preparation and execution of large badging transition projects

-Oversight of Badge Office Personnel, hardware and required materials

-Ensures employees are granted access to the proper parts of the building, to include issuance of temp badges and VIP badges.

-Maintenance support of hardware and software systems, to include testing, troubleshooting and expedient resolution

-Performs audits of access lists and supports security investigations.

-Support and maintenance of a multi-site digital video recording system

-Development support of access control systems

-Obtaining quotes from vendors

-Responsible for ensuring compliance with Visitor Management procedures while providing a welcoming atmosphere for Leidos guests.

-Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

-Ability to manage complex tasks with little supervision

-Well-developed technical and problem solving skills

-Excellent customer Service skills

-Familiarity with access control management software

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a step ladder

-Personal transportation for travel to nearby  locations within the DC metro area

-High school diploma or equivalent and 3 – 5 years of prior relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

-Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

-Experience with Access Control Systems and Hardware

-Familiarity with Software House CCURE security management software
