Job Description:

Leidos has been the technical contractor for the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child Support Enforcement since 1996. Leidos currently supports more than 40 mainframe and web services applications used by states, employers, financial institutions, and insurers. This position supports the electronic income withholding application team. This team enrolls employers interested in using the income withholding application with states and supports employers developing the application. Once employers are enrolled, the team monitors file transfers to ensure income withholdings are transmitted on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the point for the Payroll companies for routine additions or deactivation of their clients.
    • Review the employer authorization provided and the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) spreadsheet to ensure the payroll company has proper authorization
      • Notify the payroll company of the issues identified
      • Manage the request with issues pending the Payroll company’s correction
    • Review the FEINs being added to identify companies that already participate and determine communication needed with the employer to approve the migration to the new payroll company.
    • Consolidate the payroll provider updates by company and create necessary Jira tickets.
    • Update the Payroll on client updates
    • Respond to Payroll company questions or request for assistance.

  • Respond to routine request for e-IWO registration questions
  • Direct employers requesting assistance for payment remittance to the correct resource. 
  • Route complicated e-IWO inquires to the senior e-IWO Outreach lead.
  • Assist in the research of e-IWO undeliverable emails.
  • Support outreach to employers for missing acknowledgements
  • Conduct periodic QA reviews of the e-IWO participating employer information.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets for employer requested contact updates, demographic updates and/or file resends.

Basic Qualifications

 high school diploma or equivalent and 3 – 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Strong customer services skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to use an issues tracking tool to document work

Ability to learn the e-IWO application

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the Child Support Enforcement Program

Knowledge of the e-IWO application
