Leidos is looking for a Business Process Engineer for an exciting opportunity in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Business Process Engineer
Leidos is a technology-driven company with a tradition of solving some of the toughest scientific and engineering problems in the civil, defense, health, and intelligence sectors. We provide full software development lifecycle support for one of the most trusted logistics management systems in the Federal government. In order to keep up with the needs of our stakeholders, we are a looking for a business process engineer to research new configuration management policies, study Agile and DevOps best practices, analyze existing configuration management processes, develop and recommend solutions, and provide change management to guide the implementation of business process improvements.
As a Business Process Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
• Call a senior analyst to discuss improvements to functional documentation processes
• Provide an analyst with a configuration management reference number for a new feature
• Send out directions for a Configuration Management policy review
• Run Azure DevOps queries to check release work items for audit compliance
• Discuss code integration process improvements with the Release Manager and Quality Assurance manager
• Brief program leaders on the preparation status for a configuration management audit
• Send the Configuration Control Working Group minutes to program leadership for approval
• Review the Configuration Status Accounting Report from the Information Security Officer
• Brainstorm ideas with project managers about ways to release code changes more frequently
• Send out message to congratulate staff on completing an configuration management audit with no findings

Requirements"
Degree in business or engineering related field of study and/or 5+ years of professional experience in business process improvement, configuration management, project management, or change management. Four years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.Must have or be able to obtain a USA government secret clearance.
