The Role

We require a talented Remedy Developer to work on a programme implementing a key element of UK critical national infrastructure.  The responsibilities for the role include:

  • Development and management of all activities leading to adoption of the Remedy ITSM solution. 
  • Design, development, deployment and test of the Remedy toolset;
  • Liaising with the Service Management Team to ensure the Remedy toolset is fit for purpose;
  • An exposure to API integration, with a strong understanding of data mapping and data formats e.g. JSON & XML.

Skills and Experience

You will have a track record of implementing large scale Remedy-based ITSM solutions alongside possessing demonstrable experience leading and managing such implementations.  You will have:

  • Excellent BMC Remedy product knowledge, with recent hands on experience;
  • An understanding of the Remedy database structure, models, code customisation and integration methods;
  • Proficient in the design and development of Java based Remedy APIs;
  • Experience participating in large enterprise deployment and implementation of BMC Remedy;
  • Able to participate in usability and requirements meetings and then implement a solution or work flow in the tool for specific customer needs;
  • Ability to provide BMC Remedy ITSM consulting recommendations for architecture, data model, code customisation's, and integration's;
  • Ability to define and document Remedy ITSM functional and technical design specifications;
  • Good knowledge of No Magic Cameo for artefact capture and storage;
  • Strong knowledge in ITIL processes
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
