Leidos is seeking a Program Administrator to support Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) engineering and technical services to the CECOM IEW&S Directorate Sensors and Mission Division (SMED) based in Aberdeen MD with operations located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Temporary Tele-Work Status: Due to current COVID-19 safer-at-home directives, this opportunity does have the option for telework until the work/travel restrictions have been lifted. Once cleared to return to work on site, in-person reporting will be required to work on location in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Successful candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services, subject matter expertise, and software solutions and services for platforms such as the Long-Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3), Biometric Automated Toolset Army (BAT-A), Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (2GF), Persistent Surveillance System Tethered (PSS-T), and Common Sensor Payload (CSP), Guardrail Common Sensor (GRCS), Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS), Tactical SIGINT Payload (TSP), Airborne Reconnaissance Low (ARL-E), Small Tactical Radar Lightweight (STARLite) and a full range of related Aerial Sensors Suite of Systems. This support is an essential in maintaining readiness for today’s modern platform sensor systems.
Responsible for performing numerous Program Management and Contract Management functions necessary to support administration of the contract.
Responsible for preparing Task Execution Plans, budget estimates, travel requests, overtime or extended workweek requests, certificates of service, and contract status reports.
Work with the team to build the schedule of deliverables (requires learning and understanding a software release, patch, STIG, and IAVA process across 6 aerial sensor platforms for the Army).
Analyze project requirements and develop detailed workflows and policies to introduce standardization and efficiencies.
Conduct deliverable tracking, metric reporting, on time vs. late submissions and impact, staffing and site access, and cost analyses on any material procurements we’re executing.
Work with the technical team to identify procurement requirements, build requests for quote in the USG CHESS system, obtain quotes and facilitate price negotiations when necessary, route for approvals, and execute procurements via the Leidos SSC or as a P-card holder.
Responsible for new hire program orientation and onboarding.
Coordinate on-site meetings.
Must maintain a thorough knowledge of company procedures as well as working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs/DFARs), including Cost Accounting Standards.
Must be experienced in the administration of a purchasing system and related policies.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired.
Associates degree in a related field is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CECOM Software Engineering Center Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) & Post Production Software Support (PPSS) processes a plus.
