Job Description:

The Homeland Security Solutions Operation within Leidos is looking for a Technical Product Lead to provide leadership on a mission-critical program in the Enterprise Architecture team within Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) in Customs and Border Protection (CBP). PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States.

The position plays a key role in Enterprise Architecture team in providing the solution strategy, application design and development, cloud migration and assist in execution of systems and infrastructure information technology (IT) and support services using Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

The position will visualize, analyze, model, and maintain all systems, software, processes and architectures and support development of architecture application and services. 

Primary Responsibilities:
•The position is responsible for dividing large and complex systems into manageable subsystems that can be handled by individual teams / engineers, especially how other systems and users will interact with the deliverable.
•Recommend the technologies and resources to be used in its design and implementation. 
•Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. 
•Works with Enterprise Architecture team and assists in development of policies for standardizing systems, development tools 
•Must be a self-starter, strong leader, and have the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
•BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
•Extensive understanding and experience visualizing, analyzing, modeling, and maintaining systems, software, processes and architectures.
•Experience with the C4 model for visualizing software architecture (https://c4model.com/).
•Experience with modern architecture diagraming software, especially Sparx Enterprise Architect tool.
•Experience in developing web applications using Java, Jscript, NoSQL, Angular/React and other UI frameworks
•Experience creating and maintaining these diagram types:

ocontainer diagrams
odeployment diagrams
osequence diagrams
otiming diagrams
odependency diagrams
oentity relationship diagram (ERD)
orequirements traceability diagrams
oactivity diagrams
ostate machine diagrams

•Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex IT solutions on a large Program
•Demonstrated experience designing and modernizing complex enterprise networks and legacy IT systems, including developing effective COOP/DR solutions
•Excellent communication and written skills
•US Citizen
•Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
•BA/BS or equivalent experience and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 12+ years or prior relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 
•Demonstrated experience in network and cyber security design, engineering and operations with emphasis on DHS capabilities
•Demonstrated experience using Splunk dashboard configuration
•Experience with NIST SP 800 series or ISO 27000 series documents for information security management and risk assessment
•Demonstrated experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V 
•Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as RedHat Linux and Windows Server
•Demonstrated experience in ITIL, ISO20000 / ISO27001 implementations
•At least one nationally recognized vendor certification
•Cloud Technical, Business or TCO Accreditation
•Cloud Architect, DevOps or SysOps Associate or Professional Certification
•Active CBP BI
•CBP experience
