The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for the Surgeon General (SG) / Head Chaplain (HC) Administrative Services Specialist, Headquarters 16th Air Force, Lackland AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
The candidate will perform a variety of complex and senior executive-level administrative duties for both the 16AF Surgeon General (SG) and Head Chaplain (HC). The candidate will provide human capital support, management support services and business systems application services supporting both the SG and HC. This candidate is expected to manage the Business Systems Applications as well as Management and Administrative Support aspects of this position. Specifically, this candidate will manage and administer the Microsoft Task Management Tool (TMT) and SharePoint site to collaborate with subordinate units and higher headquarters on three networks (NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS). Task management and collaborative services will enhance collaborative management capabilities and services that support the AF Network Enterprise management system. The candidate will be expected to execute with minimal supervision in compliance with written and oral guidance and policies and to perform the full range of administrative services, including organizing travel schedules, organizing and managing calendars and completing expense reports. The candidate will assist the SG and HC with managing and prioritizing the daily operations and adjusting for revised priorities. The candidate will leverage detailed knowledge of the SG/HC operations, organizational procedures, and personnel, and serve as a point of contact with other administrative and leadership teams. The candidate will leverage network and resources to accomplish objectives effectively, participate in or lead team initiatives, as needed, and take initiative to improve operations and office best practices within established guidelines.
Current TS/SCI Clearance
8+ years Administrative experience (must have prior experience as an Executive Admin or Administrative Assistant).
Experience with computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Task Management Tool (TMT) and SharePoint
Experience working with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Ability to work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables
Must have strong interpersonal skills and have excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with HIPAA and Medical Affairs
Familiarity with Religious Affairs
