Job Description:

Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense Team is seeking a Cloud ISSM Specialist to assist other team member ISSMs supporting the USACE enterprise cloud systems to achieve and maintain accreditation under the Risk Management Framework. This includes all cloud environments for Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS).  

Regular tasking includes but is not limited to the development and administration of system eMASS records, assisting team members with security control testing, coordinating POAM resolutions with outside teams, submitting and maintaining USACE cloud SNAP requests, and providing the USACE cloud CSSP with current cloud system information as needed.

Clearance: You must hold an active DOD Secret clearance to qualify.

Location: This position offers 100% Telework or the option to work out of our Vicksburg, MS customer location.

•    Assist the ISSMs in meeting their duties and responsibilities.
•    Implement and enforce all USACE cloud system cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documentation.
•    Ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances and access authorization, and are aware of their cybersecurity responsibilities for DoD IS and PIT systems under their purview before being granted access to those systems.
•    In coordination with the ISSM, initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered and ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSO.
•    Ensure that all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred; Bachelor in other major with years of experience and certification is acceptable and 2-4 years of direct experience. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Must hold current DOD 8570.01, IAM-I (CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE)

  • Two to four (2-4) or more years’ experience in the following areas:

  • Cyber security, Information Assurance/Information System Security Engineering for Cloud initiatives

  • FEDRAMP certification process and DISA Cloud Access Point process

  • RMF assessment & authorization process (NIST SP800-53A, CNSSI 1253, DOD8500.1, DOD 8510.01)

  • DISA STIG and SRR compliance test and verification 

  • ACAS/SCAP vulnerability scanning and secure baseline/system security plan continuous monitoring

  • DoD and Army Information Security regulations, publications, and policy 


  • FEDRAMP certification process and DISA Cloud Access Point process

  • Working knowledge of standard cloud technologies to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

  • Experience with :

  • Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCS

  • HBSS

  • ACAS

  • Information Assurance, Cyber Security, and Assessment & Authorization experience

  • Experience developing process documentation from scratch and performing assessments.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: research, multi-tasking, critical thinking; and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment.
