More About the Role:
Leidos is seeking an IT Service Management (ITSM) analyst to support efforts for NGEN-R; the candidate will be responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are written and followed for change, configuration, release, and deployment management. These processes will enforce accurate configuration accounting and authorized changes from categorization, approval and implementation are executed for the network.
NGEN-R is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of NGEN-R, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
What You'll Get to Do:
•Creating, reviewing and updating of the change management process to ensure compliance with Navy directives.
•Creating reports on the configuration of the NMCI network using a configuration management system.
•Monitoring of the release and deployment management process.
•Creating and maintaining of Release and Deployment Plans and reporting on pre-testing of deployments.
•Creating and maintaining Requests for Change.
•Creating and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires BS and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience.
•US Citizen and DoD Secret Clearance.
•Requires understanding of the ITSM processes and interfaces.
•Requires BS and 7 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•ITIL version 3 Expert or Master level certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience with Navy Process Reference Model (NPRM).
•Experience with USMC Enterprise ITSM Framework processes.
