Leidos is hiring a Defensive Cyber Ops (DCO) Incident Responder with an active TS/SCI to support ONI, DoD, DoN, and the IC. All work is onsite in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
The successful candidate will perform Defensive Cyber Operations Incident Response activities, supporting ONI’s cyber security mission.
Coordinate incident response in the instance of a cybersecurity incident or breach Identify and classify attacks, malware, spillage, and countermeasures
Research advanced persistent threats and emerging cyber threats
Create finished intelligence products, including briefings and situation reports
Perform Indications & Warnings analysis
Develop and implement computer network defense tactics
Support vulnerability management and assessment technologies, and cybersecurity tools
Conduct vulnerability assessments
Active TS/SCI clearance
BS in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of experience in related field in lieu of degree
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Certified Network Defense Architect(CNDA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Computer Security Incident Handler (CSIH) certification or willingness to achieve certification within 6 months of hire
4+ years of experience in computer network defense.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
Experience with DoD, IC Incident Response Policy and Procedures
