The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Task Flow and Process Manager at Fort Meade, MD. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
Provide staff support to and assist Group Commander's and senior leadership in executing group responsibilities to coordinate, develop and process timely responses to internal and external formal tasking requests for information. Manage the customer’s formal tasking process including tasking assignment, suspense requirements, task response and timeliness. Furthermore, collaborate on a regular basis with HHQ to ensure all taskers and mission requirements are clearly understood and accurately disseminated to the workforce for timely response and/or follow-up action. Aptly demonstrate organizational expertise by receiving, tracking, and processing all higher headquarters (HHQ) requirements. Also edit, review, and track officer promotion correspondence and other documentation for routing through proper channels. Additionally, prepare slide decks and manage video teleconferencing scheduling and set-up in order to facilitate the weekly 2-Letter staff meetings. Finally, advise leadership on trending and/or progress on wing initiatives to fulfill the Commander’s priority objectives, mission goals and strategic vision.
Team Lead Responsibilities
Additionally the candidate will serve as a Leidos Team Lead. In this capacity, you will be responsible for supervising a matrixed team within the 16AF (70ISRW) to organize, plan, develop and execute solutions to address client needs and solve complex mission challenges. As a Team Lead, you will set goals, measure progress and ensure development and growth of your team. Finally, you will be accountable to the AFCO and 70ISRW Site Lead and 16AF Mission Lead for all monthly deliverables.
- Requires a BA/BS degree and 8 + years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional related experience may substitute for a degree.
- TS/SCI cleared with Polygraph.
- 5+ years’ experience in Knowledge Management.
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
- Previous experience working within AFCO or the 70th ISR Wing at Fort Meade Maryland
- At least 10 years’ experience working with the national intelligence community and supporting the ACC ISR enterprise.
- Experience as an executive officer or executive assistant.
- BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
