We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement EUCOM's mission objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Audio/Video (AV) / Video Teleconferencing (VTC)  Engineer. 
This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. 
Will be required to travel OCONUS.

The VTC Engineer supports networked Audio Visual (AV), Voice and Video over IP (VVoIP), Voice over IP (VoIP) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) services to include hardware, software, network, and scheduling components necessary to deliver real-time voice and video communications.
AV Technicians must have expertise in setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting AV equipment (displays, microphones, sound boards).

Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues.

Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.

Supporting AV requirements for Command events and ceremonies.

Perform quality control and preventative maintenance measures on a daily basis to ensure systems availability and longevity.

Monitor AV Systems status and update AV Systems log. Support all backups of system / AV profiles and configurations.
In addition, the AV Engineer configures devices in accordance with security policies.  Monitor capacity and utilization. Provide trending and capacity planning services to analyze and plan for efficient utilization and management of the networked services. Troubleshoot and correct all detected or reported network faults or outages. Troubleshoot end user devices to determine reason for outage and return to service. Perform account management functions.  Ensure that trouble ticket items are investigated and resolved and that necessary equipment repairs are performed and documented. Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on unified capabilities implementation, optimization and ongoing management. Other duties as assigned.
Provide assistance via remote access, phone, or in person. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with network hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.  They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
The candidate will operate, monitor and manage all networked AV systems to include AV routing matrix, integrated computer systems, network infrastructure, lighting, and associated peripherals. Develop, maintain, and update VTC Control Devices. As time allows, support the various VTC rooms throughout their Area of Responsibility. Conduct user training, provide status briefs, develop, update and maintain SOPs and operational guides on conference room AV systems. Provide initial troubleshooting regardless of IT system/device or network and/or service provider.  Additionally, the AV Engineer will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.

Basic Qualifications:
An active Secret Clearance is required and ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearnace.
An adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance is prefered.
High School and 5 years relevant experience or Bachelor's and 3+ years relevant experience.
Cisco Certified Network Associate – (CCNA).
Crestron Commercial Design and Applications Certificate DOD 8570 IAT 2 compliance (CompTIA Security +, equal or greater).
TESA eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist).
AMX/Crestron/ThinkLogical Certifications.
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.
Experience working with basic networking to include foundations of Cisco Routers and Switches.
Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
