We’re looking for a Business Process Engineer (BPE) to join our team. Responsible for the use of quantitative and analytical methods to perform critical analysis to improve current VHA scheduling processes. Evaluate user business problems and then develop system recommendations to meet requirements. Interacts with stakeholders to gather data, conduct analysis to identify areas of improvement.
The Business Process Engineer (BPE) will analyze and evaluate VHA scheduling problems. Will develop process recommendations to meet business and user requirements. Will analyze the current and technical processes to develop new and modified business information processing systems. Tasks may include the following: Project Management, Planning, Task Tracking and Status Reporting.
- Ability to coordinate with both business and technology teams to elicit system requirements
- Ability to facilitate and execute user acceptance tests
- Ability to coordinate system testing
- Ability to work with cross-discipline teams.
- Ability to report work actively on a timely basis.
- Proficient MS application knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project).
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with the customer to define requirements.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
Expertise in working with National VHA program deployment centered on patient scheduling (VistA, VSE, Cerner, etc.)
