The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for an experienced SIGDEV Analyst on our large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. The Principal SIGDEV Analyst will provide expert level analytic support to planned and deployed systems. This position will directly support the Signals Recovery Team . The analyst will work as part of a combined team of civilian, military and contractors. They will support a number of missions and should have experience performing signals and protocol analysis, ideally with VSAT systems.
Daily duties include diagnosing issues related to the loss of signals - changes in frequencies, apertures and technology use (including variations to vendor technology and substitution).
Bachelors Degree in related field of study and 10 or more years related experience. In lieu of Bachelors Degree an additional 4 years of directly related experience will be considered
A minimum of 10 years experience and in-depth demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT Development analytic support
Must have SIGNIFICANT experience with Protocol Analysis.
Recent hands on experience with access analysis, target development, and engineering analysis associated with existing customer systems.
Within the last 10 years, a minimum of 7 years experience in at least four (4) of the specializations listed below:
- Signals Analysis
- Modern Tele-communications System and Networks:
- Telephony Switching System:
- Communications Systems
- Cellular/Personal Communications Systems:
Within the last 10 years, a minimum of 5 years experience with customer databases/tools in the following categories
Demonstrated expertise, specific to the customer and tools, in the following areas is required:
- Digital network analysis and plug-in development
- Environmental knowledge and target development
- Understanding of modern telecommunications networks
