Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Systems Engineer for a position in the Reston, VA area. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.

The primary focus of this effort is to ensure the data is well governed, documented and protected.  Supporting this effort will include initiatives such as the converging technical solutions, transition strategies, and support for the evolution of operating capabilities. This work requires significant interaction across many teams and groups and understanding of requirements, assessing enterprise capabilities, and ensuring services are compliant.

Engineer should have demonstrated experience with the engineering, development and integration of access solutions consistent with enterprise level Identity Credential and Access Management. The engineer should have demonstrated experience in systems engineering with enterprise level systems.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Requires a BS and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional years of experience are acceptable in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated experience using the AVMF to manage user and resource attributes.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting or developing governance, regulatory policy definitions, and customer interfaces used to deliver integrated security solutions across multiple security domains such as networks, enterprise, enclaves. 

  • Demonstrated experience with data object and attribute validation, acquisition, assembly, de-confliction, management, and repurposing.

  • Demonstrated experience exhibiting combined skills in project management, systems integration, systems engineering, and architecture planning to facilitate delivery of enterprise level capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience in architecture planning at the enterprise level.

  • Demonstrated experience with analyzing data holdings to provide statistics, recommend policies or requirements to improve data quality.

  • Demonstrated experience with analyzing data holdings to model the flow of data.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrated security solutions across multiple security domains such as networks, enterprise, enclaves. 

  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation of authorization solutions using commercial access control systems.

  • Demonstrated understanding/experience with large-scale enterprise programs and networking of large scale DBMS and software services.

  • Demonstrated experience with the Agile methodology such as sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, work backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, or story clarifications.

  • Demonstrated experience/understanding of provisioning systems, workflow systems, user attributes, and role-based permissions for access control and identity management.

  • Demonstrated experience developing or supporting applications in a virtualized environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working to drive to strategic and tactical solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience with data strategy core elements and principles.
