Leidos is seeking an Engineer Technologist who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the Federal Aviation Administration’s En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) program. This is a challenging and demanding position that supports the repair and configuration of hardware utilized at the FAA’s EnRoute Centers across the United States. The Engineering Technologist will work at the Atlantic depot located in Chesapeake, VA.
ERAM is the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System helping to advance our transition from a ground-based system of air traffic control to a satellite-based system of air traffic management.
• Repair extremely complex electronic and mechanical equipment down to the component level.
• Work with limited supervision
• Requires a high school diploma and minimum of 1+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to configure, test and repair IBM, Dell, and HPE servers and PC’s including IPC 7770/7771
• Must have soldering certification
• Ability to work both independently and with others in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at a time.
• Successful completion of Standard Form (SF) 85P, Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions background investigation
