Job Description:

The 36th Intelligence Squadron currently has an opening for an Intermediate Target Development (ITD) Analyst to work at Joint-Base Langley Eustis in Hampton, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW) and Air Combat Command Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Major Command. The ITD Analyst provides operational and technical support to Combat Air Forces units associated with Intermediate Target Development (ITD) and Joint Targeting Cycle improvements. Analyst will compose analytical summaries and Target Graphics of system capabilities and characteristics for Target Development Nominations (TDN) and potential Target System Analysis (TSA) inclusion in compliance with CJCSI 3370.01C, Target Development Standards, and Intelligence Community Directives.  Research Intelligence Community websites for relevant multi-ISR discipline data/products (GEOINT, SIGINT, All-Source, HUMINT) related to TDN assignments while maintaining product currency, integrity, and operational applicability. 

Analyst will perform intelligence problem set, trend, network and pattern-of-life analyses using multiple empirical and qualitative analysis techniques and review, edit and validate TDN products/checklists. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source intelligence research
  • Draft Intermediate Target Development (ITD) remarks per CJCSI 3370
  • Conduct peer review of ITD products developed by teammates
  • Compose analytical summaries and Target Graphics of system capabilities and characteristics
  • identify, evaluate, and assist with the integration of emerging targeting technologies and non-materiel solutions
  • Provide junior analysts with product / methodology feedback
  • Provide TDN production trend analyses to senior leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required and 4 to 8 years of relevant ISR experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant ISR experience.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance single-scope background investigation. TS with SCI eligibility recorded in JPAS will be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed Intermediate Target Development (ITD) training
  • Prior unit level, AOC, C-NAF, and MAJCOM targeting experience is desired.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
