Leidos is seeking a Internal Audit Intern in Reston, VA.

We offer an exciting internship that provides practical, hands-on experience in the areas of Audit and Advisory Services. As an intern with Leidos, you will have an opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world problems by working in challenging and team-oriented engagements with stakeholders across the organization.
Options for the position include a year-round part time internship (20 hours per week) and a summer internship that runs from mid-June to mid-August (40 hours per week) at a competitive hourly rate. All internships are located in Reston – VA.
Provide assistance and support to the internal audit team under the supervision of a senior team member.
-Take initiative to develop in-depth knowledge of the company and the operations of the business unit being audited.
-Utilize time wisely by prioritizing tasks and complete assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.
-Work independently with minimal supervision.
-Communicate effectively with peers and Management, both orally and in writing.
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree as a Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related degree with an average 3.0 GPA.
-Currently a full time student.
-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with supervisory personnel.
-Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
-U.S. Citizenship is required.
-Excellent communication and writing skills.
