The Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Aeronautical Information Specialist to work in our St. Louis, MO office. This is an exciting opportunity to use aeronautical experience supporting the DoD Aeronautical Safety of Navigation mission.
Support instrument procedure production processes
Review aeronautical safety of navigation documents and data for viability and accuracy
Manage incoming worldwide aeronautical updates
BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience analyzing aeronautical data provided from a variety sources for completeness and accuracy to build, update or correct DOD graphic and DAFIF products.
Experience with foreign and domestic aeronautical safety of navigation source.
At least ten years of aviation experience that could include: pilot, navigator, air traffic control, mission planning, airport operations, and/or degree in one of those fields.
At least ten years of analyzing aeronautical data provided from a variety sources for completeness and accuracy to build, update or correct DOD graphic and DAFIF products.
At least ten years of experience with foreign and domestic aeronautical safety of navigation source.
