The employee will be responsible for assembling sub kits for the ADNS Project, which includes accessing CISCO routers insuring that all licenses have been applied. The mechanic will test computer assemblies using Linux software. Additional job duties will include assembling complex metal structures using customer provided drawing within IPC-610A specifications. Duties will include ensuring that high-quality manufacturing production operations happens on schedule. The mechanic will also check all parts listed on the Bill of Material of the product being manufactured, ensuring all service center parts are received and segregated.
Daily responsibilities includes but not limited to assembly of complex Electronic Assemblies. Mounting Computer Stack. Testing hardware using LINUX software. Checking Cisco equipment for proper configuration.
Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 – 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be able to read Drawings and Bills of Materials. Shall have a basic under- standing of Electronic Circuit.
Experience with the Mircosoft Office, Linux and Cisco software is a plus
