Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Cloud Engineer / System Administrator. After an initial onboarding period, this position has the schedule of being remote 3 days a week and then you will need to be on site in the Mechanicsburg / Camp Hill, PA area 2 days a week.

Job Description:

  • Designs and defines DoD, DISA, and DLA compliant system architectures for new or existing computer systems for a data center and cloud environment.

  • Designs and implements enclave moves from a physical data center to a cloud environment.

  • Provides professional services support for customers migrating to a government cloud environment (AWS GovCloud, Azure, etc.).with subject matter expertise in virtualization technologies, such as KVM and Hyper-V.

  • Collaborates across internal teams and works with customers to assess and evaluate DISA compliant cloud migration configurations, best practices, and recommended technical approaches Diagnose, troubleshoot, and configure migrated VM’s.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience with building, delivering, deploying, and managing solutions for the DoD

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.

  • Knowledge of a broad variety of enterprise and Cloud data, software, and hardware solutions

  • Possesses the knowledge to comply with all DISA Information Assurance Support Environment Information Impact Level requirements

  • Ability to evaluate technology standards, tools, products, and solutions, make rational design decisions from a technical perspective, and communicate recommendations

  • Experience with working in a DoD/DISA compliant physical data center and cloud environment.

  • Experience in Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

  • Possess a working knowledge of the DISA ATO/RMF process

  • Azure Experience

  • Disaster Recovery planning

  • Windows Server support(IIS,  SQL Server)

  • Automation Scripting

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and firewall security design

  • Knowledge of F5, Cisco FTM, Splunk SIEM, Sophos, Chef Infra, and Chef Automate

  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016, or 2019 administration

  • Knowledge of Git, TFS, or other software version control system

  • Knowledge of Agile and Test-driven design methodologies

  • Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and design

  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD SRG requirements and FISMA security control requirements

  • Knowledge of server STIG requirements

  • Azure Cloud Certification
