Job Description:

Leidos has an opening for an ISR Knowledge Operations Administrator at Hurlburt Field, FL.  Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. This candidate will be responsible for analyzing processes and building solutions as necessary within the 25 Intelligence Squadron’s (IS) Operations section to support the existing and future collaborative environment (including, but not limited to NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS). They will perform tool-to-tool and/or process analysis, metrics, and benchmarking in an effort to identify and reduce duplicative systems to create a more collaborative environment. This may include building custom portal web part prototypes. Additionally, the position will be responsible for oversight of the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) and keeping the 25 IS-owned portal pages current; analyzing processes internal to the section; streamlining those processes; and building simple solutions as necessary to ensure operations, training and deployment requirements are met. Individual on this task order will be available to travel to the 25 IS detachment and other location as needed to fulfill duties.

Will support the assigned Director of Operations and the 25 IS to streamline existing business processes and provide expert level knowledge and support for the development of the 25 IS Portals (SIPR, NIPR, other coalition), web pages, online documents, web browsers, web/database security, communication protocols, and the capabilities and limitations of computer hardware and software as they relate to web development in a collaborative information environment (CIE).

The individual supporting this task should be cleared at the TS/SCI level at the start of the task. Individual will require access to SCI, and Focal Point material in performance of this effort. Individual will require access to NIPRNET/SIPRNET/JWICS computer systems at the 25 IS, Hurlburt Field, FL. Individual may be authorized to courier classified information up to the “Secret” level in performance of official duties upon approval of and designation by the COR.

Individual will sustain, manage and deploy data, information, and knowledge-sharing services in a fixed and expeditionary environment. Duties include planning, coordinating, sharing, and controlling an organization’s data and information assets. Manage technologies to capture, organize, and store tacit (personal know-how) and explicit (recorded) knowledge.

Perform administrative functions to include administrative support requirements, review of awards, citations, reviews and travel requirements. Conduct information analyses to determine proper flow and life-cycle management of information, regardless of medium. Operate information systems to create, collect, process, disseminate, use, store, protect, and dispose of information. Develops, provides, and educates users on workflow capabilities and tools to comply with structured electronic processes and flexibility to create/develop ad hoc courses of actions. Manage timeliness, accuracy, and maintenance of published content. Approves and publishes content through automated publishing tools.  Manage publications and forms development, design, control, storage, acquisition and dissemination.  Provide guidance to ensure publications and forms meet prescribed style, format, and legal and statutory requirements. Focal point for Internet and e-mail management and use policies. Create manual and electronics file plans. Applies file cutoff procedures and disposes of and retrieves records. Operate and manage records information management system and records staging areas. Comply with Privacy Act (PA) and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures and provide assistance to ensure others comply. Provide guidance and assistance on common, standard electronic communications applications and establishes policy, processes, and procedures for document management, collaboration, and workflow. 

Manage knowledge services. Serve as consultant/liaison for overall data, information, and knowledge planning and integration; identifies and analyzes data, information, and knowledge requirements to facilitate delivery of decision-quality information to commanders. Uses and manages technologies to capture, organize, and store activities/experiences, leveraging collaborative knowledge across disparate organizations. Promote interaction among two or more individuals encompassing a variety of behaviors, including communication, information sharing, coordination, cooperation, problem-solving, and negotiation. Assess, develops and manages desktop common-operating pictures/dashboards.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree or equivalent military training and 4+ years of related experience. 2+ years of direct experience.  Requires TS/SCI security clearance. 

 

DESIRED SKILLS:  Knowledge of Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS) and able to update military personnel records.  Perform duties in Virtual Personnel Center (vPC) for processing and managing decorations and evaluations
