Leidos is seeking a Junior IT Support Intern in Beavercreek, OH.
Provide direct IT support to Senior Network Engineers, Senior System Administrators and end users. Research and implement solutions to information system anomalies.
-Setup and administer Local Area Networks along with respective computer information systems.
-Install Active Directory and manage networked PCs and client accounts.
-Implement security solutions on a broad scale.
-Install, upgrade, and secure networked systems and servers not connected to the internet.
-Perform hardware and software maintenance, upgrades and patches for PCs and servers.
-Install, secure and manage Windows, Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu and CentOS client workstations and servers.
-Install network cables and manage smart switches.
-Perform office administrative duties which include completing organizational forms in order to obtain interagency support.
-Research cost for computer upgrades and computer components along with completing purchase forms.
-Minimum Associates Degree in IT or related discipline with 2 years' experience with an average 3.0 GPA.
-Experience with LAN's, Active Directory, and security solutions.
-Experience with hardware and software maintenance and peripherals.
-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with supervisory personnel.
-U.S. Citizenship is required.
-Recent Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related degree.
-Strong work ethic, good customer relations, multi-tasking, self-starter.
