Job Description:

We are seeking an Consultant Employee with 20+ years of experience with electrical construction experience, or with an electric utility or design consultant with design experience. Depending on the candidate, assignments may include assessment and development of design packages for overhead and underground distribution projects in urban and rural environments in compliance with client's engineering and construction specifications, coordination with 3rd party utilities, work permit development, ensuring quality control and maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule and budget.  The selected strategic hire will be expected to increase works assignments from the client while serving as a technical lead on large and complex projects.  Additionally, they will develop new solutions, processes, standards or strategies that position Leidos competitively with our clientele.

Required Experience & Education:

• BS degree and 15-20 years of experience with electrical construction, electric utility and/or design consultant with design experience.
• Ability to follow safe work practices, prescribed standards and procedures. 
• Ability to work effectively in teams. 
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. 
• PE License
• Must be able to walk long distances in an outdoor environment.
