Leidos is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team to support a federal customer within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC). Project manager provides support across the task order’s operations and engineering teams. The project manager will support the PM and DPM in a variety of projects critical to program execution.
Provide project management services to plan, coordinate, manage, report on project status for assigned projects.
Establish and maintain necessary controls, management oversight, documentation, reporting, customer support, and notification functions as well as ensuring that required tasks stay on track and milestones are met.
Plan, organize, and manage resources for project completion.
Create, manage, and control work plans, project schedules, and/or work breakdown structures.
Coordinate with other contractors and system owners as needed.
Coordinate with multiple technical and operational teams to achieve the necessary program, project or activity plans, and schedules.
The project manager role supports new Engineering projects and Operation & Maintenance projects.
The project manager will support the planning and development of cyber range training programs for the ESOC and other DHS component SOC task orders.
The project manager will also support the Program Manager in overall program staffing efforts.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years prior relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. US Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required
Leading a team of technical resources to meet project timelines and expectations
Prior experience supporting a Federal Customer.
Candidates are required to obtain an Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance to support this program.
Experience supporting programs conducting cybersecurity engineering and operations.
