Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud Integration Engineer supporting a cloud based Mission Planning Development Program for our Orlando, FL location. The successful candidate will be energetic, eager to learn and comfortable working in a peer-to-peer environment.  Under supervision general responsibilities will include:

  • Architect and manage secure high-availability systems using industry standards and best practices

  • Provision and configure Azure cloud resources

  • Support a Azure DevOps based CI/CD environment with developers spread across the country

  • Support Azure cloud-based infrastructure for multiple enterprise and custom web applications

  • Configure/integrate authentication across multiple web applications

  • Support build, release, and deployment pipelines

  • Create scripts to automate cloud based tasks

  • Create documentation for systems and processes

  • Participate in scheduled off hours maintenance activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or a closely related field and 4-8 years related experience

  • Active Security+ certification

  • Azure or AWS management cloud experience (Azure preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of MS Windows environments

  • Network Design and topologies including edge services & point-to-point VPN setup within cloud environments

  • Understanding of high availability environments such as clustering, failover and geographic redundancy

  • Experience with Docker container technologies and Docker container deployment technologies, such as: TerraForm, Kubernetes, OpenShift or Helm

  • Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple contractors, government agencies and other mission planning stakeholders

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Participate in scheduled off hours maintenance activities

  • Knowledge of specific applications/tools: CI/CD tools such as Team Foundation Server or the Atlassian tool suite; GIT client usage & GIT servers

  • Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher – Configure, Manage, Backup/Restore

  • Windows Server 2012 or higher – Configure, Manage, Backup/Restore

    • IIS Web Server Configuration and Management

    • Active Directory concepts and implementations

    • Windows Server 2012 or higher

    • Firewall design and concepts

Desired Qualifications:

  • Some hands-on experience with a scripting programming language like PowerShell and Bash

  • Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and/or SQL Server certification(s)

  • Experience supporting a Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (TFS) CI/CD environment

  • Atlassian Tools Suite experience

  • Experience supporting Linux servers

  • Experience supporting large Git repositories

  • Experience supporting a Jama requirement management system

  • Apache/Tomcat

  • Microsoft Azure DevTest Labs

  • Familiar with Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • F5 BIG-IP Authentication and Firewall Solutions
